New York City in June is a vibrant blend of warm days & cool evenings, where the streets hum with energy. Outdoor festivals, rooftop bars, & lush Central Park lawns invite both locals & tourists to soak in the summer vibe. The city buzzes with life, from Broadway lights to cultural events, making it an unforgettable time to experience the heart of NYC.

Why New York?

How could we not start here? Jake’s always dreamed of living in NYC—& with his birthday in June, the timing felt perfect. We’ve got family & friends nearby, & there’s just something poetic about kicking off the trip in the city that never sleeps. It’s the center of business, culture, chaos, & inspiration. As they say: if you can make it here...

Where Are We Staying?

We will be in in the heart of Midtown Manhattan, nestled between Murray Hill and NoMad. It’s a lively area known for its blend of classic brownstones, sleek high-rises, and historic landmarks. Just a short walk from the New York Public Library and Grand Central Terminal, the neighborhood buzzes with professionals, students, and tourists alike. With cozy cafes, upscale lounges, and convenient access to transit, it offers a mix of old New York charm and modern urban energy.

This Airbnb is cozy, chic, and efficient, making the most out of every square inch. Sure, the kitchen is teeny-tiny but there’s a stove, a fridge, all the essentials, and just enough counter space to chop. The main bedroom has a door which is huge and there's an extra bed in the living room for visits. It’s small, it’s cute, just like Halle.
